Hayley Burnett, MS, ACNP-BC

Hayley is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC). She received her Masters of Science (MS) degree from Wright State University in 2010. Majority of her career as a Nurse Practitioner has been with pulmonary and critical care medicine. Hayley joined PMD in 2015 and sees patients in both Kettering and Sycamore offices, Sycamore Hospital, Life Care Hospital, and Pristine Senior Living Center. Her interests are patient education and teaching as well as management of respiratory disorders. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Hayley worked for several years as a bedside nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.
As an ACNP Hayley combines extensive medical and nursing knowledge. She has experience caring for patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic illnesses including pulmonary diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), COPD, asthma and allergies, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, tracheostomy and ventilator management, sleep apneas, among many other diseases. Her sound clinical judgement and excellent communication skills enhance the patient experience. Hayley strives to provide holistic and individualized care in partnership with each patient.
Hayley and her husband have a daughter and a son. When she is not at work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.
