Mindy Silcott MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, TCRN
Mindy Silcott was born in Dayton, Ohio, and raised in West Milton, Ohio. She began her career in healthcare by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1991. Mindy furthered her education by graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Sinclair Community College in 1996. Over the next 27 years, she dedicated herself to working as a critical care nurse and House Supervisor in Dayton, Ohio, and Denver, Colorado. In 2021, Mindy achieved her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University and obtained board certification in Gero/Acute care (AGACNP-BC). She then worked as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care in Raleigh, North Carolina, each for one year.
Outside of her professional life, Mindy enjoys hiking, biking, and sewing.
She is a proud mother of two children: Mitchell, a 25-year-old bartender, and Miranda, a 24-year-old severe weather meteorologist for the National Severe Weather Service. Mindy also has two beloved fur babies, Willow Patrice and Oskar Blue, and shares her life with her wonderful fiancé, David, who works for Medtronic.
Mindy joined Pulmonary Medicine of Dayton November 2023.
